生产方法 

4-氨基-2-甲基-5-乙酰胺甲基嘧啶与16%氢氧化钠在105-118℃水解2-3h生成4-氨基-2-甲基-5-氨甲基嘧啶。冷却，在23-25℃加入甲酬谢 氯化铵，降温至18℃，再投入二硫化碳，在33-35℃反应1.5h。然后冷至24℃，加入γ-氯代γ-乙酰丙醇乙酸酯，于35-45℃反应4h，冷至35℃以下过滤，用水洗涤，滤干，得3-（2-甲基-4-氨基-5-嘧啶甲基）氨基黄原酸基-3-乙酰基丙醇乙酸酯。将其投入水中，加入盐酸，搅拌加热，在75-80℃水解10min。加入柠檬酸、活性炭及水，加热至55-60℃脱色15min。压滤，滤液于40-55℃以20%氢氧化钠溶液中和至pH7-7.5。过滤，滤饼用水洗涤，滤干，得硫代硫胺素。收率约80%。
