tert-Butyl (1S,3R,5S)-3-Carbamoyl-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-2-carboxylate is an intermediate in the synthesis of (2’S,2R,trans)-Saxagliptin (S143470), which is an impurity of Saxagliptin (S143500). Saxagliptin is a potent and selective reversible inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-IV) developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
