RA-9 Chemical Properties,Uses,Production

Biological Activity

RA-9 is a potent and selective inhibitor of cell-permeable proteasome-associated deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) with favorable toxicity and anticancer activity. It selectively induces apoptosis in ovarian cancer cell lines.

in vivo

RA-9 (5 mg/kg; ip; one-day on, two-days off) inhibits human ovarian cancer cell growth in vivo and prolongs survival in a mouse model for ovarian cancer.

Six-week-old female immunodeficient (NCr nu/nu) mice
Dosage: 5 mg/kg
Administration: Ip; one-day on, two-days off
Result: Significant reduction in tumor burden at day 12.
