Petasinoside Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Occurrence
A pyrrolizidine alkaloid, petasinoside has been isolated from the stalks of Petasites japonicus Maxim and separated from the preceding base by column chromatography. It is an amorphous white powder having no definite melting point and is laevorotatory with a specific rotation of [α] - 38° (c 1.1, EtOH).
