Biological Activity
Gomisin D is a lignan compound isolated from Fructus Schisandra, a potential antidiabetic and anti-Alzheimer's disease drug. It can inhibit UDP-glucuronyltransferase activity and scavenge ABTS(+) free radicals and can be used as a quality marker for Shengmaisan and Shenqi Jiangtang granules.
