citrus bioflavonoids are polyphenolic plant pigments found in high concentrations in citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits, etc.) that have powerful free radical scavenging (antioxidant) and cardioprotective effects. It is mainly used as a dietary supplement to help strengthen capillaries and protect collagen; improve blood sugar levels in diabetes; and enhance immune response, among other benefits.
