camellia seed oil is an easily absorbed carrier oil, that does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin. It contains fatty and essential fatty acids, including oleic acid. Camellia seed oil also contains vitamin e, providing it with some anti-oxidant properties. Ingredient manufacturers cite it as beneficial for dry, aging, and sunburned skin. It is used in both skin and hair care preparations.
