Feed Additive

A class of trace chemicals called feed additive are added to prevent disease, promote growth and improve efficiency and quality in the processes of production, storage, blending and feeding. growth-promoting medicine, prophylactic medicine and health remedy as well as preservative (antifungal medicines) and coloring agents. Unlike some compound feed containing nutritional supplements (vitamins, amino acids, etc.), compound feed containing such additives are known as medicated feed. The latter comes along with the issues of the withdrawal period and allowed residues in the production of food animals. In accordance with the regulations, the additive medicine must be made into premixes first instead of being directly added into feed.
