Hazards IdentificationBack to Contents
【Inhalation】

Causes respiratory tract irritation.
【Skin】

Causes skin irritation.
【Eyes】

Causes eye irritation.
【Ingestion】

May cause gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause kidney damage. May cause systemic toxicity with acidosis. Exposure may cause anemia and other blood abnormalities. May produce aplastic anemia, blood pressure depression, body temperature decrease, changes in kidnet tubules, dyspnea, flaccid paralysis without anesthesia, gastrointestinal effects, kidney damage and hemorrhaging, muscle contraction or spasticity, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, respiratory stimulation and somnolence. Prolonged ingestion may produce bone marrow depression with agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia and aplastic anemia may occur with prolonged administration. Lab findings in overdoses have indicated metabolic acidosis, hyponatremia, hypokalemia, bone marrow hypoplasia, thrombocytopenia, granulocytopenia, coagulopathy, and less commonly hemolytic anemia.
【Hazards】

Stable.
