在室温及氮气保护下，将2g（7.434mmol）2-溴-4-三氟甲基苯甲酸（CAS：328-89-2）溶解于20ml DMF中。随后，向该溶液中依次加入1.13g（8.177mmol）碳酸钾和557μL（8.921mmol）碘甲烷。反应混合物在氮气氛围下搅拌过夜。反应完成后，将混合物倒入300ml水中，用乙酸乙酯（2×80ml）萃取水层。合并有机相，用无水硫酸钠干燥，过滤后减压浓缩。粗产物通过硅胶柱色谱法纯化（洗脱剂：庚烷/乙酸乙酯，梯度0至10%），得到1.75g（收率83%）2-溴-4-三氟甲基苯甲酸甲酯，呈橙色油状。
