一般步骤：在100 mL二氯甲烷中溶解4-溴丁酰氯（10.27 g，55.4 mmol），随后加入苯甲醇（6.29 g，58.1 mmol）。将碳酸钾（8.3 g，60 mmol）分四批加入反应混合物中。反应2小时后，加入水进行分层。有机层依次用水和盐水洗涤，并用无水硫酸镁干燥。减压蒸发除去溶剂，得到4-溴正丁酸苄酯（11.87 g，收率83%），为无色油状物。其1H NMR（400 MHz，CDCl3）数据如下：δ 7.36（m，5H），5.14（s，2H），3.46（t，J = 6.4 Hz，2H），2.56（t，J = 7.2 Hz，2H），2.20（quin，J = 6.6 Hz，2H）。
