以3-(2-羟乙基)氮杂环丁烷-1-甲酸叔丁酯为原料合成3-(2-溴乙基)氮杂环丁烷-1-羧酸叔丁酯的一般步骤：在0℃下，向3-(2-羟乙基)氮杂环丁烷-1-羧酸叔丁酯（6.1g，30.3mmol）的二氯甲烷（100mL）溶液中依次加入四溴化碳（19.8g，60.6mmol）和三苯基膦（15.7g，60.6mmol）。将反应混合物在室温下搅拌过夜。反应完成后，浓缩混合物，残余物通过硅胶柱色谱法（洗脱剂：石油醚/乙酸乙酯=100:1）纯化，得到3-(2-溴乙基)氮杂环丁烷-1-羧酸叔丁酯（5.5g，产率69.4%），为无色油状物。LC-MS m/z：208 [M+H-56]。
