TRFS-green itself emits at ∼480 nm when excited at 377 nm.
TRFS-green displays a green fluorescence off−on change induced by the TrxR-mediated disulfide cleavage and subsequent intramolecular cyclization to liberate the masked naphthalimide fluorophore.
