Lactacystin 是一种抗生素,链霉菌属的代谢物,是一种有效的选择性蛋白酶体 (proteasome) 抑制剂,对 20S 蛋白酶体的 IC50 为 4.8 μM。Lactacystin 还抑制溶酶体酶组织蛋白酶 A。Lactacystin 抑制细胞生长并诱导神经突增生。

Lactacystin (microinjection; 2 µg) induces a Parkinson’s disease-like motor phenotype 5-7 days after injection in young and adult mice.
