t-Butyl Peroxyneodecanoate is useful as a low-temperature initiator for radicalcatalyzed
polymerization of vinyl monomers.
Allgemeine Beschreibung
tert-Butyl peroxyneodecanoate is sensitive to heat. Storage of tert-Butyl peroxyneodecanoate must be done so with stringent temperature control measures. It's explosion hazard is also mitigated by mixing the peroxide in an organic solvent slurry. Responders should try to identify solvent.
