Uses

The solution is used for the sensitive detection of alkaline phosphatase (AP) in blotting protocols, including: Southern blot

Western blot
Colony and plaque lifts
In situ hybridization

Note: NBT/BCIP may be used with both nitrocellulose and nylon membranes.
