Description
Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral that is most commonly found in natural calcium carbonate. Therefore, calcite is a widely distributed mineral. Chemical Properties

Application
Calcite is used as a flux in the metallurgical industry and used in the construction industry to produce cement and lime.
