4-Methoxybenzenesulfonic Acid is used as a synthesis of acyl/sulfonyl hydrazine derivatives for pharmaceutical synthesis.
Production Methods
P-Methoxybenzenesulfonic acid is obtained by sulfonation of anisole. The ammonium salt of p-Methoxybenzenesulfonic acid can be obtained in high yield by treating anisole with an equal mass of sulfamic acid at 140 – 150 ℃.
