Uses
Dihydroergotamine (+)-tartrate salt is a vascular serotonin receptor activator. In addition, it has been shown to induce lung cancer cell death through apoptosis and mitophagy.

Definition
ChEBI: The L-(+)-tartaric acid salt of dihydroergotamine, a semisynthetic ergot alkaloid with weaker oxytocic and vasoconstrictor properties than ergotamine. Both the tartrate and the mesylate salts are used for the treatment of migraine and orth static hypotension.
