Light yellow powder, odorless, soluble in alkanes, fats, mineral oils, paraffins and most organic solvents, with a spectral maximum absorption value of 375mm (in ethanol) and a maximum emission wavelength of 435nm (in ethanol).

Uses

Fluorescent Brightener 28 (Technical Grade) is used for the staining of fungi and as a viability stain. Dyes and metabolites.
