使用

Phytofluene is a colourless carotenoid that absorbs light in the UV range. They are found in most carotenogenic organisms such as micro organisms, algae, fungi and plants. Phytofluene has effective and benefiting activities for both health protection, nutritional and beauty applications and have significant anti-inflammatory activity as well.

純化方法

Purify it by chromatography on partially deactivated alumina [Goodwin Biochem J 53 538 1953, Kushwaha et al. J Biol Chem 245 4708 1970]. Store it as a solution in pet ether under N2 at -20o. [Beilstein 1 III 1072, 1 IV 1159.]
