説明
This glycoalkaloid occurs in the leaves of Solanum chacoense and crystallizes as
colourless needles. It is laevorotatory having [α]
D- 85° (c 1.0, pyridine). Acid
hydrolysis furnishes leptinidine 23-0-acetate, while alkaline hydrolysis with
Ba(OHh yields acetic acid and leptinine I.
