트라이마그네슘포스페이트 C화학적 특성, 용도, 생산

순도시험

  (1) 불소화물 : 이 품목 1g을 정밀히 달아 「구연산칼슘」의 순도시험 (8)에 따라 시험한다(5ppm 이하).

  (2) 비소 : 이 품목을 비소시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 4.0ppm 이하이어야 한다.

  (3) 납 : 「메타인산나트륨」의 순도시험 (2)에 따라 시험한다(2.0ppm 이하).

확인시험

  (1) 이 품목 0.2g을 묽은질산 10mL에 녹인 액은 확인시험법 중 인산염의 (나)의 반응을 나타낸다.

  (2) 이 품목 0.1g을 묽은초산 0.7mL 및 물 20mL를 가하여 녹인 다음 염화제이철시액 1mL를 가하여 5분간 정치한 후 여과한 액은 확인시험법 중 마그네슘염의 반응을 나타낸다.

정량법

  이 품목 약 0.2g을 정밀히 달아 물 25mL 및 묽은질산 10mL 혼합액에 가하여 녹인다. 필요하면 여과하고 침전물을 묽은질산 1mL를 가하여 녹인다. 이어 50℃로 유지하면서 몰리브덴산암모늄시액 75mL를 가한 다음 때때로 저어주면서 30분간 방치한다. 이 액을 실온에서 16시간 또는 하룻밤 정치한다. 침전물을 물(30～40mL)로 1～2회 세척한 후 여과한다. 침전물을 위의 여과지에 옮기고 이 침전물을 질산칼륨용액(1→100)으로 여액이 리트머스시험지에서 산성이 나타나지 않을 때까지 세척한다. 이 침전물에 1N 수산화나트륨용액 50mL를 가하여 녹을 때까지 저어준 다음 페놀프탈레인시액 3방울을 가한 후 과량의 수산화나트륨 1N 황산으로 적정한다.

1N 수산화나트륨용액 1mL ＝ 5.714mg Mg₃(PO₄)₂

개요

Magnesium phosphate includes both magnesium phosphate, dibasic, and magnesium phosphate, tribasic. Magnesium phosphate, dibasic (MgHPO4.3H2O, CAS Reg. No. 7782-75-4) occurs naturally as the white, crystalline mineral newberyite. It is prepared commercially as a precipitate formed by treating a solution of magnesium sulfate with disodium phosphate under controlled conditions. Magnesium phosphate, tribasic (Mg3(PO4)2.xH2O, CAS Reg. No. 7757-87-1) may contain 4, 5, or 8 molecules of water of hydration. It is produced as a precipitate from a solution of magnesite with phosphoric acid. Magnesium plays a vital role in regulating the neuromuscular activity of the heart, converts blood sugar to energy and is necessary for proper calcium and Vitamin C metabolism. Magnesium Phosphate can be used as a dietary supplement and as a nutrient.

Soft, bulky, white powder; odorless; tasteless. Loses all water at 400C. Soluble in acids; insoluble in water. Nonflammable.

용도

Magnesium Phosphate (Mag Phos) is the painkiller of the cell salts. It is taken against pains and cramps. It is the eighth of the twelve cell salts and has been called the "homeopathic aspirin" because of its ability to heal acute pains anywhere such as earache, headache, toothache (including teething in babies), and even sciatica—as long as the pains are better with the use of heat and pressure. It is often used as a hot drink. For this drink dissolve ten tablets of Magnesium phosphate in hot water an drink in small sips. the cell salt Magnesium phosphate is assimilated especially fast by the body and thereby works quite good. This mixture may not be stirred with metal spoons.
