Use the Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human to obtain rapid and flexible quantification of gene expression levels for virtually all human genes included in the NCBI Reference Sequence Database, in real-time PCR assays on the LightCycler^? 480 System, the LightCycler^? Carousel-Based System, or other commercially available real-time PCR instruments. Perform an assay with a probe selected from the Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human by following established real-time PCR protocols using the LightCycler^? 480 Probes Master or the LightCycler^? TaqMan^? Master on the LightCycler^? Carousel-Based System, or the FastStart TaqMan^? Probe Master (or other real-time PCR-compatible reagents) on other real-time PCR instruments.

The Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human contains probes #1 to #90 of the 165 Universal ProbeLibrary Probes. In combination with the unique ProbeFinder assay design software, these 90 hydrolysis probes provide real-time PCR assays for more than 98% of the 37,000 human gene transcripts included in the NCBI Reference Sequence Database.
The probes are dual-labeled with a reporter fluorophore (FAM) and a dark quencher dye. They are used in standard real-time PCR assays, on standard real-time PCR instrumentation.
