용도

milk thistle (Carduus marianus; Silybum marianum) is credited with wound-healing and free-radial scavenging properties. It is used in toners and aftershave preparations. Among its constituents are essential oils, unsaturated fatty acids, polyacetones, and the silymarin group of flavonoids.
