NiO-SDC composite shows a high catalytic activity as an anode material, which makes it a potential candidate for the fabrication of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). It shows a maximum power density of ~490 mW cm-2 at 600°C and a polarization resistance of 0.1 Ωcm2.
