숙신산이나트륨 C화학적 특성, 용도, 생산
순도시험
(1) 액성 : 이 품목의 수용액(1→20)의 pH는 7.0～9.0이어야 한다.
(2) 황산염 : 이 품목 1g을 물 30mL에 녹여 1% 염산으로 중화하고 다시 묽은염산 1mL를 가하여 이를 시험용액으로 하여 황산염시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 0.01N 황산 0.4mL에 대응하는 양 이하이어야 한다.
(3) 비소 : 이 품목을 비소시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 4.0ppm 이하이어야 한다.
(4) 납 : 「메타인산나트륨」의 순도시험 (2)에 따라 시험한다(2.0ppm 이하).
(5) 산화되기 쉬운 물질 : 이 품목 2g에 물 20mL 및 묽은황산 30mL를 가하여 녹이고 이를 20℃로 유지하면서 0.1N 과망간산칼륨용액 4mL를 가할 때, 시액의 색은 3분이내에 없어져서는 아니 된다.
확인시험
(1) 이 품목은 확인시험법 중 호박산염의 반응을 나타낸다.
(2) 이 품목은 확인시험법 중 나트륨염의 반응을 나타낸다.
정량법
이 품목을 건조한 다음, 약 0.15g을 정밀히 달아 빙초산(비수적정용) 30mL를 가하고 0.1N 과염소산용액으로 적정한다(지시약：크리스탈바이올렛•빙초산시액 1mL). 종말점은 액의 자색이 청색을 지나 녹색으로 변하는 점으로 한다. 따로 같은 방법으로 공시험을 한다.
