Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail 1 includes a mixture of inhibitors that will inhibit the L-isozymes of alkaline phosphatase as well as serine/threonine protein phosphatases such as PP1 and PP2A. This product contains microcystinLR, cantharidin, and (?)-p-bromotetramisole. Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail 1 has been replaced with P0044.

Phosphatases are active regulators of a number of important biological processes. Inhibition of phosphatases by small molecules is useful to study its biological role.
