Beinaglutide is a recombinant human GLP-1 (rhGLP-1) peptide with almost 100% homology to human GLP-1 (7-36), retaining the first 30 amino acids in the original sequence. Beinaglutide exhibits dose-dependent effects in blood glucose control, inhibition of food intake and gastric emptying, and promotion of weight loss. Beinaglutide has the potential to study overweight/obesity and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
