IL-2RG分子背景
IL-2R是一种异三聚体蛋白，与细胞因子IL-2结合并产生反应。鉴定出三条不同的IL-2R链，称为α、β和γ，它们是非共价结合的。α链和β链参与结合IL-2，而细胞因子相互作用后的信号转导由γ链和β亚基进行。IL-2R的α链可以在受体与IL-2相互作用之前与β链结合。单独的γ链对IL-2的亲和力非常弱，但在配体与α/β异二聚体结合后，γ链被招募到复合物中，形成非常稳定的大分子四元配体/受体复合物。白细胞介素-2受体亚基γ（IL2RG），也称为细胞因子受体共同亚基γ，CD抗原CD132，gammaC，p64，属于I型细胞因子受体家族或5型亚家族。IL2RG位于骨髓中未成熟造血细胞的表面。IL2RG缺陷是严重联合免疫缺陷X连锁T细胞阴性/B细胞阳性/NK细胞阴性（XSCID）的原因。
