背景（Background）
5'-核苷酸酶（5'-NT），也称为胞外-5'-核苷酸酶或CD73（分化簇73），是由NT5E基因编码的酶。CD73通常用于将AMP转化为腺苷。外切5-三核苷酸酶（5-核糖核苷酸磷酸水解酶）在中性pH下催化嘌呤5-三核苷酸转化为核苷，优选的底物是AMP。其他形式的5-三聚核苷酸酶存在于细胞质和溶酶体中，可以通过其底物亲和力、对二价镁离子的需求、ATP的激活和无机磷酸盐的抑制与胞外NPT5区分开来。罕见的等位基因变异与成人发病的关节和动脉钙化综合征（CALJA）有关，该综合征影响髂、股和胫动脉，减少腿部和手脚关节的循环，导致疼痛。
