This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 28.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 30-33 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
I型胶原蛋白是皮肤、骨骼和肌腱等结缔组织中含量最丰富的结构蛋白。它被合成为一种前胶原分子，其特征是一个300 nm的三螺旋结构域，两侧是球形的N端和C端前肽。三螺旋结构域包含Gly-Xaa-Yaa三联体，其中Xaa和Yaa通常分别是脯氨酸和羟脯氨酸。非螺旋前肽被前胶原N-和C-蛋白酶活性去除，使成熟的三螺旋可以自组装成胶原纤维，为组织提供抗拉强度。I型胶原蛋白是一种由两条α1（I）链和一条α2（I）链路组成的异三聚体，尽管也有人描述了由三条相同的α1（Ⅰ）链组成的同源三聚体。
