背景(Background)
胶质成熟因子β(GMF-β)是一种17 kDa的蛋白质神经生长因子,被鉴定为脊椎动物大脑中的生长和分化因子。
胶质成熟因子β刺激正常神经元和胶质细胞的分化。GMFB抑制N-18神经母细胞瘤系和C6胶质瘤系的增殖,同时促进其表型表达。
当加入细胞培养物中时,GMFβ会抑制胶质细胞和神经元的表型表达,从而抑制其各自肿瘤的增殖。尽管星形胶质细胞产生GMF-b并将其储存在细胞内,但它们不会将GMF-b分泌到培养基中。当细胞直接接触时,细胞表面GMFb在近距离内作用于靶细胞。GMF-β由胸腺上皮细胞产生,在T细胞发育中起着重要作用,有利于CD4+T细胞。
