This protein carries an Avi tag (Avitag™) at the C-terminus, followed by a polyhistidine tag.
The protein has a calculated MW of 25.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 36-55 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

CD16a 抗原也称为低亲和力免疫球蛋白 γ Fc 区受体 III-A (Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-A) 或 Fc-γ RIII-α (Fc-gamma RIII-alpha)。CD16b 是一种低亲和力、GPI 锚定的受体,表达于中性粒细胞和嗜酸性粒细胞;而 CD16a 则是一种中亲和力的多肽锚定跨膜糖蛋白,表达于自然杀伤细胞、巨噬细胞、T细胞亚群、未成熟胸腺细胞和胎盘滋养层细胞。
CD16a 参与吞噬作用、酶和炎症介质的分泌、抗体依赖性细胞介导的细胞毒性作用(ADCC)以及免疫复合物的清除。CD16a 的异常表达或突变与对反复性病毒感染的易感性、系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)以及同种免疫性新生儿中性粒细胞减少症有关。
