蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 18.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 33-45 kDa under reducing (R) condition, and 55-80 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under non-reducing (NR) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

T细胞特异性表面糖蛋白CD28（亦称TP44）是一种包含免疫球蛋白样V型结构域的单次跨膜I型膜蛋白。作为T细胞表达的重要共刺激分子，CD28能为T细胞活化提供必需的协同刺激信号。该蛋白是CD80（B7.1）和CD86（B7.2）的特异性受体。当抗原呈递细胞（APCs）被Toll样受体配体激活后，其CD80表达会上调；而CD86在抗原呈递细胞上呈持续性表达。值得注意的是，CD28是初始T细胞上唯一持续性表达的B7家族受体。
