DOTA-NT-20.3 is a neuropeptide (NTS) analog peptide and a ligand for the 68Ga ion, composed of 8 amino acids and DOTA. 68Ga-DOTA-NT-20.3 PET imaging demonstrates rapid tumor uptake, high contrast between tumors and background, fast blood clearance, and moderate accumulation in the kidneys. 68Ga-DOTA-NT-20.3 exhibits favorable pharmacokinetic and biodistribution characteristics, enabling high-quality PET imaging in mice with subcutaneous or orthotopic cancer xenografts. 68Ga-DOTA-NT-20.3 shows specific binding to NTSR1 on pancreatic cancer cells and provides superior PET detection for adenocarcinoma compared to 18F-FDG.
