Description：胃泌素是一种重要的胃肠激素，它主要由G细胞分泌。G细胞是典型的开放型细胞，以胃窦部最多，其次是胃底、十二指肠和空肠等处，另外人胰岛的D细胞亦能分泌胃泌素。胃泌素的主要作用是刺激胃黏膜细胞增殖；刺激壁细胞分泌盐酸和主细胞分泌胃蛋白酶原；刺激胃窦与肠运动，延缓胃排空；刺激胰液、胆汁和肠液分泌。[Leu15]-Gastrin I是Gastrin改造后的序列，由17个氨基酸组成，其中第15个氨基酸换成Leu，序列中有4个连续的Glu增加了多肽合成的难度。

Gastrin is an important gastrointestinal hormone primarily secreted by G cells. G cells are typical open-type cells, most abundant in the gastric antrum, followed by the fundus, duodenum, jejunum, and other areas. Additionally, D cells in the pancreatic islets can also secrete gastrin. The main functions of gastrin include stimulating the proliferation of gastric mucosal cells; promoting the secretion of hydrochloric acid by parietal cells and pepsinogen by chief cells; enhancing gastric antrum and intestinal motility, delaying gastric emptying; and stimulating the secretion of pancreatic juice, bile, and intestinal fluids. [Leu15]-Gastrin I is a modified sequence of gastrin, consisting of 17 amino acids, with the 15th amino acid replaced by Leu. The presence of four consecutive Glu residues in the sequence increases the difficulty of peptide synthesis.
