Gevokizumab (development code XOMA-052) is an investigational, humanized monoclonal IgG2 antibody developed for the treatment of auto-inflammatory diseases. It represents a unique approach within the class of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) inhibitors. Gevokizumab functions as an allosteric modulator of the IL-1β pathway.
