Physical chemistry:
The TC is white or light yellow crystalline powder. Melting point is 151-162oC. It is disssolved in methylbenzene,ethyl acetate,acetone,chloroform,ethanol,etc. Slightly soluble in n-hexane and petroleum ether, and low solubility in water,say 10ug/L.
Toxicity:
Acute oral LD50 of abamectin TC is13.6-23.8mg/kg b.w. in mice and 10-11.3mg/kg b.w. rat. No teratogenicity, carcinogenicity or mutagenicity.
Usage:
The product is an antibiotic agent which is active against nematodes,insect,mites etc.it interferes the physiological activities of insect nerved,inhibit the nerve to muscle communication and lead paralyzing to death.Injection and tablet of the product treat for gastrointestinal nematodes,hyproderma bovis happened on domestic and also work for hyproderma lineatm,sheep nose bot,psoroptes ovis,sarocoptes scabiei var suis,sacoptes ovis ets. The product is also a insecticide, acaricide in agriculture and used widely against mitered,leaf miner,jumping plant louse,diamond back moth, cabbage worms,etc.
