乙嘧酚(23947-60-6)的性质：
1、白色结晶固体，熔点159～160℃。
2、在140℃时发生相变；在25℃时的蒸气压为0.267mPa。
3、密度为1.21(25℃)，室温时在水中的溶解度为253mg/L(pH5.2)，l50mg/L(pH7.3)，153mg/L(pH9.3)。
4、几乎不溶于丙酮，微溶于乙醇；在氯仿、三氯乙烷、强酸和强碱中溶解。它对热以及在碱性和酸性溶液中均稳定。
5、它不腐蚀金属，但是它的酸性溶液不能贮存在镀锌的钢铁容器中。
乙嘧酚(23947-60-6)的毒性：
对雌大鼠急性口服LD50为6.34g/kg；小鼠为4g/kg；雄兔为2g/kg；对雌猫>1g/kg；对雌性豚鼠为0.5～1g/kg；对母鸡为4g/kg。大鼠急性经皮LD50>2g/kg，大鼠急性吸人LC50＞4.92mg/L。每天用1ml含50mg药物的溶液滴人兔的眼睛中，只引起轻微的刺激。对鼠和狗2年喂养的无作用剂量分别为200mg/kg和30mg/kg。对蜜蜂安全。对施药区附近的动物无影响。鱼毒LC50(96小时)：虹鳟为66mg/L，小红鳟为20mg/L。蜜蜂LD501.6mg/蜜蜂(经口)，20g/L(接触)。水蚤LC50(48小时)53mg/L。
