熊去氧胆酸甲酯性质、用途与生产工艺
我国现在采取人工养殖，活提取UDCA，但步骤多、周期长、收得率低，不能满足医疗要求，因而人工合成UDCA具有重要意义。自上世纪五十年代以来，已经尝试了许多种化学合成方法，在上世纪八十年代，酶学方法、微生物发酵方法亦发展了起来，同时化学合成方法也出现了许多改进，并有酶学方法、发酵方法与化学合成法相结合制备UDCA的趋势。
熊去氧胆酸(3α，7β-二羟基-5β-胆烷酸，以下简称UDCA，是名贵中药熊胆所含的主要有效成分，在临床上用于治疗各种胆石疾病，各种急性、慢性肝病，具有良好的效果。
熊去氧胆酸甲酯是制造UDCA （熊去氧胆酸）的前体，对溶解胆固醇胆石和促进鱼类生长有重要作用。
