Yield: 80%

Reaction Conditions:

with diethylzinc in hexane;acetonitrile at 80; for 20 h;Schlenk technique;Inert atmosphere;

Steps:

General Procedures for the Et2Zn-mediated silylation of terminal alkynes:
To a 25 mL Schlenk flask alkyne (2 mmol), chlorosilane (2 mmol), solvent (10 mL) and 1 M n-hexane solution of Et2Zn (1 mL) is added and the mixture is stirred at 80 °C for 20 h unless otherwise stated. After cooling, the reaction mixture is evaporating solvent on a rotary evaporator and analyzed with 1H NMR using CH2Br2 as an internal standard. Silica gel column chromatography with hexane/ ethyl acetate as the eluent affords the purified alkynylsilane product.
