以4-氟苯胺为原料合成4-氟苯肼盐酸盐的一般步骤如下:将4-氟苯胺(127.6 g,1 mol)溶解于浓盐酸(293 mL)中,室温下搅拌2小时。随后,在温度控制在5℃以下的条件下,将上述溶液缓慢滴加到亚硝酸钠(72.5 g,1.05 mol)的水(145 mL)溶液中。滴加完毕后,继续搅拌1小时,然后过滤分离得到滤液。在0-10℃的温度范围内,向滤液中缓慢滴加NaHSO3(213.2 g,2.05 mol)的水(500 mL)溶液,同时用25% NaOH溶液调节pH值保持在6-7之间。将反应混合物加热至80℃,维持此温度反应1小时。反应完成后,将混合物冷却至室温,然后逐滴加入浓盐酸(600 mL)。接着,将混合物加热至90-100℃反应1小时。最后,将混合物冷却至10℃,通过过滤收集沉淀物,得到浅红色固体产物4-氟苯肼盐酸盐(129.3 g,收率60%)。
