Description
Argatroban is a reversible, competitive thrombin inhibitor (Ki = 5 nM) that shows selectivity for thrombin over other clotting pathway enzymes. It inhibits thrombin bound to fibrin clots as well as thrombin that is free in solution. This direct thrombin inhibitor prevents or alleviates thrombosis in cases of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.More related product prices
