Description | Aspidosperma neblinine Monachino yields this alkaloid which forms transparent
crystals from hexane. It is laevorotatory with [α]27D
- 14° (c 1.19, CHC13).
Catalytic reduction furnishes the dihydro derivative, m.p. 230-3°C (dec.). The
