Production method

During the preparation of G salt by sulphonation and salting out of 2-naphthol, part of R acid is also produced by by-product, and R salt is obtained by salting out the waste acid after separating G salt with sodium chloride. The saturated sodium chloride solution was first added to the salt-out tank, preheated to 30℃, and then the R acid solution after sulfonation, salt-out, and separation of G salt was added, stirred for 1~2min, and then left for suction filter. Then wash with saturated sodium chloride solution 3~4 times, suction to obtain the finished R salt.

Use

Fluorescent indicator. Diazo salt and aromatic amine reagent. Organic synthesis. Dye intermediates. It is mainly used for making azo dyes and food coloring.

R salt (CAS NO.135-51-3) is used for the system of food coloring, azo dyes, photosensitive copying paper. It is used as a fluorescent indicator, but also for the synthesis of azo dyes and used for the production of edible pigment, azo dyes, photosensitive copy paper.
