Overview: 

tianeputine, alias stablon. Its chemical structure belongs to tricyclic antidepressants. Its mechanism of action is a drug 5-HT reuptake agonist with the exact opposite effect of selective 5-HT reuptake inhibitors.

Production method :

27.6g(0.16mo1) newly distilled ethyl 7-aminoheptanoate dissolved in 40ml nitromethane, under intense agitation, the solution was added to 26.2g(0.08mo1)5, 8-dichloro-10-dioxy-11-methyldibenzo [c, f] thiazazepines suspended in 120ml nitromethane solution. 

Heat at 55℃ for 30min. Vacuum concentration, residual dissolved into water. The extract was extracted with ethyl ether, the extract was concentrated until dry, and 36g of crude esterification was obtained. 30g(0.065mo1) of the crude esterification and 2.8g(0.07mo1) of sodium hydroxide were refluxed in 75ml ethanol and 25ml water for 1h. 

Steam the ethanol under reduced pressure and dissolve the remaining liquid into 150ml water. The aqueous solution was extracted twice with 75ml chloroform and then steamed under reduced pressure. Dissolve 150ml of chloroform in sodium salt, dry with anhydrous sodium sulfate, and add anhydrous ether to precipitate the product. Filtered and collected, washed with ether, dried at 50℃, 13g of tineptine sodium was obtained, melting point 180℃(decomposition).
