First Aid MeasuresBack to Contents
【Ingestion】

Do NOT induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid immediately.
【Inhalation】

Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. DO NOT use mouth-to-mouth respiration. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration using oxygen and a suitable mechanical device such as a bag and a mask.
【Skin】

Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Discard contaminated clothing in a manner which limits further exposure. Destroy contaminated shoes.
【Eyes】

Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately. Do NOT allow victim to rub or keep eyes closed.
Handling and StorageBack to Contents
【Storage】

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Keep away from water. Refrigerator (approx 4 C). Keep containers tightly closed.
【Handling】

Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Keep container tightly closed. Do not ingest or inhale. Use with adequate ventilation. Discard contaminated shoes.

Exposure Controls/Personal ProtectionBack to Contents
【Personal Protection】

Eyes: Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166. Skin: Wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent skin exposure. Clothing: Wear appropriate protective clothing to minimize contact with skin. Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.
【Respirators】

A respiratory protection program that meets OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2 requirements or European Standard EN 149 must be followed whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator's use. Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Always use a NIOSH or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator when necessary.
Fire Fighting MeasuresBack to Contents
【Flash Point】

166
【Fire Fighting】

Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Substance is noncombustible. Contact with metals may evolve flammable hydrogen gas. To extinguish fire, use water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or alcohol-resistant foam. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.
【Fire Potential】

Non-combustible, substance itself does not burn but may decompose upon heating to produce corrosive and/or toxic fumes.
Accidental Release MeasuresBack to Contents
【Small spills/leaks】

Absorb spill with inert material, (e.g., dry sand or earth), then place into a chemical waste container. Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to waterways. Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Provide ventilation. Do not get water inside containers.
Stability and ReactivityBack to Contents
【Stability】

Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
【Incompatibilities】

Strong oxidizing agents, strong bases.
【Decomposition】

Hydrogen chloride, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, oxides of sulfur, carbon dioxide, nitrogen.
【Combustion Products】

Fire may produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases.
