15.15-1 Synthesis Example 15-1. Preparation of compound 15-1
1-bromo-3,5-dimethyladamantane 32.7g (134.5mmol) was put in 50.6g (538mmol) of phenol, and then heated to 120 °C temperature for 12 hours. After completion of the reaction, after cooling to room temperature, it was put into a beaker containing 500 mL of hot water, and a precipitate was formed while stirring. After filtering, the precipitate was washed three times with hot water and then sufficiently vacuum dried to obtain 25.8 g of compound 15-1 in 75% yield.
