24.2 Step 2: Preparation of (3-(pyridine-2-yl)phenyl)methanamine
After dissolving the raw material 3-(pyridin-2-yl)benzonitrile (2.00g, 11.1mmol, 1.0eq) in methanol (20mL), adding ammonia (4mL) and Rani nickel (951mg), the reaction liquid was replaced with nitrogen 3 times, hydrogen was exchanged 3 times, and the reaction was stirred at 25 °C for 2h in a hydrogen (45Psi) environment. TLC (PE: EA = 3:1) after the detection reaction is completed, filtered, washed with methanol, concentrated after removing methanol, the target compound (2.00g, 97.8%), crude product directly used in the next reaction.
